Experience premium harvest from early Spring, when winter gives way to fragile, young leaves full of flavor. Only new buds and leaves are picked from Huang Shan mountains, hand-rolled and gently kneaded before baking, to create this fragrant pour with meditative sweetness; for which monks appreciate and love this tea!
What makes it great
Also known as ‘Yellow Mountain Fur Peak’ due to its tiny white shoots of leaves shaped like mountain peaks, it carries an almost mysterious and soothing aroma coming from the careful oxidation of its leaves. Known to be served to respectable aristocrats and government delegates, this grade of Huangshan Maofeng is a fine green tea grown with high standards and quality supervision.
Taste and Aroma notes Lifted vegetal notes wrapped with a sweet lingering aftertaste that makes way for a lovely orchid fragrance.
Don't throw away your tea after steeping it! One of the gretest advantage of drinking whole leaf tea is that each serving of leaves can be re-steeped many times.
This tea can be re-steeped 3 times. We recommend using 3 grams of this whole leaf tea for 150ml of water
75gms = 75 cups of teas.
We recommend returning to any used tea leaves within the day.
