Thought India is home to only Black Teas? Think again. One of the rarest growing green teas in India, Dooars relaxes you with gentle waves of bright velvety liquor. Nestling just below Darjeeling at the Himalayan foothills, amidst the versatility of Bhutan, Bangladesh and Assam; Dooars is a land shared by jumbos, rhinos, deciduous forests and this rich, awakening tea.

What makes it great
Referring to ‘doors’ in the languages of Bengali, Nepali and Assamese, this region is the gateway to the North East and Bhutan, where authentic green teas are cultivated at fertile elevated plains ranging from 90 to 1750 metres above sea level towards the south of Himalayas. This dark green tea has the goodness of the soil of India and shows a strong influence of Assam.

Taste and Aroma Notes
Hints of refreshing astringency take you through this cup of tea while it is characterized by a bright, smooth and full-bodied liquor that’s a wee bit lighter than Assam tea.

Multiple Infusions
Don't throw away your tea after steeping it! One of the greatest advantage of drinking whole leaf tea is that each serving of leaves can be re-steeped many times.

This tea can be re-steeped 3 times. We recommend using 3 grams of this whole leaf tea for 150ml of water

200 gms= 200 cups of tea

We recommend returning to any used tea leaves within the day.
