This unique Oolong variety from Darjeeling strikes a chord distinct from anything you have tasted before. Packed with autumnal earthy and fruity fragrances, the high-fired dark leaves are gently curled and twisted to create their unusually brisk character.
What makes it great
The complex, skilfully dried leaf mix of Darjeeling’s bronzed Oolong includes larger more developed leaves, tossed and shaken multiple times to cause the slightly browned twisted edges. Oxidized in this manner, the leaves infuse into a bright liquor with a nutty taste and tremendous health properties.
Taste and Aroma Notes
An all-day favourite of adventurous palates, this refreshing brew reminds one of sweet and malty orange blossoms while playing between a roasted butternut mouthfeel and dense muscatel flavours with slight astringency.
Multiple Infusions
We recommend re-steeping this tea up to 3 times using 3 grams of tea leaves for 150ml of water.
75 grams = 74 cups of tea.
This tea will last for multiple infusions throughout the day. One of the greatest advantages of drinking good quality loose-leaf tea is that each serving can be re-steeped many times.
