Description

Immortalized in glorious poetry by emperors, Dragon Well is a green tea surrounded by ancient legends that believed; the Dragon of an eponymous well, granted the villagers’ prayers for rain. The true Dragon Well experience comes from leaves that are picked the earliest, with lightest flavours, aromas and a lasting sweet aftertaste.

What makes it great
Over 1500 years of indigenous hand-pressing skills have created this vibrant emerald and strikingly attractive leafed tea. Steamed before drying out to avoid complete oxidation, the nutty aroma opens up beautifully in TDT’s Yixing clay teapot, and enchants the palate with a toasty finish. Tea masters pluck the most tender buds and tender leaves, leaving the perfect amount of stem on for its classic sweetness and best aroma of all green teas, that Dragon Well is known for!

Taste and Aroma Notes
Bold and velvety, one cannot deny the uplifting buttery yellow liquor of this tea, that tastes like a beautiful toasty, grassy infusion.

Multiple Infusions

Don't throw away your tea after steeping it! One of the greatest advantage of drinking whole leaf tea is that each serving of leaves can be re-steeped many times.

This tea can be re-steeped 4 times. We recommend using 4 grams of this whole leaf tea for 150ml of water

75 gms= 75 cups of tea

We recommend returning to any used tea leaves within the day.
