A soul-stirring green tea, the exquisite Ganlu of Mount Meng is renowned as a monk’s favourite due to its calm, meditative effects rounded with sharp yet mellow depths. A flavourful brew that is great on its own or also tasteful when paired with sweet eats like cakes or chocolates!
What makes it great
The signature full-bodied essence of Ganlu is only elevated by a skilled mix of baking and roasting techniques. Skilful tea masters work the wok to knead and curl the leaves, breaking some leaves in the process. This allows the leaves’ juices to turn aromatic when combined with the heat and create the classic fresh and clean character of this tea.
Taste and Aroma notes
The tea gathers notes of rounded sweetness with a crispy and refreshing honey aftertaste.
Multiple Infusions
Don't throw away your tea after steeping it! One of the greatest advantage of drinking whole leaf tea is that each serving of leaves can be re-steeped many times.
This tea can be re-steeped 4 times. We recommend using 3 grams of this whole leaf tea for 150ml of water
50 gms= 66 cups of tea
We recommend returning to any used tea leaves within the day.
