Better known as Jade Fire, it breathes in a sweet smoky fragrance while patiently baking and perfecting over high heat. Allow yourself to savour the dark, glossy character of Hong Qing while subtle glimpses of juniper add a distinct edge to your tea time.

What makes it great
A green tea created by leveraging heat, without steaming is called a ‘hong qing’, where in its initial processing stages, it is dried by baking over charcoal fire. The ‘baked’ designation adds deserving character to the whole buds and leaves of this tea, creating a bright liquid with floral fragrances so distinctly strong, yet pleasingly familiar.

Taste and Aroma notes
Being a high-fire green tea, it offers an intense vegetal, savory taste and slightly grassy undertones. The taste of this brew aligns with the appearance; strong but neither burnt or
charred.

Multiple Infusions
Don't throw away your tea after steeping it! One of the greatest advantage of drinking whole leaf tea is that each serving of leaves can be re-steeped many times.

This tea can be re-steeped 3 times. We recommend using 3 grams of this whole leaf tea for 150ml of water

125 gms= 125 cups of tea.

We recommend returning to any used tea leaves within the day.
