With this refreshing green tea, fold in the crisp mountain air of Jiu Long Shan also known for its royal significance as the 'Mountain of Nine Dragons' during the Qing dynasty. It is popularly known as a health tea due to its anti-bacterial, anti-aging and slimming properties.
What makes it great
This green tea variety grows slowly due to the thin air and humidity of the high-altitude mountains that nurture quality tea farming. The natural tea gardens where it is hand-harvested, are away from crowded cities and allow pollution-free air to flourish tea plants and create a pure, light green slightly curled tea.
Taste and Aroma Notes
A floral character from the start, it grows on to a unique and complex vegetal aftertaste. Its aesthetically hand-folded, dark-green leaves emanate mild, floral hints of honey that is a soothing pleasure to sip every day.
Don't throw away your tea after steeping it! One of the greatest advantage of drinking whole leaf tea is that each serving of leaves can be re-steeped many times.
This tea can be re-steeped 2 times. We recommend using 3 grams of this whole leaf tea for 150ml of water
200 gms= 132 cups of tea
