Before you sip, breathe in the exceptional aroma of this ancient green tea revered since the Song Dynasty, of which 18 royal bushes are still harvested today. This variety of pan-roasted
Tea from Longjing Village is a fine green tea that is world renowned for its one-of-a-kind, succulent appearance and distinctive, fragrant flavour!
What makes it great
Hand-plucked early before Spring Equinox, the buds and leaves are dried and pan-fired in a large wok for 15 minutes, before pan-frying again to produce the lovely, elongated shape you see. Till today, it is mostly produced by hand as the wok frying involves great skill, to enhance the flavours of its classic broad, large leaves.
Taste and Aroma Notes
With stunning fragrances of fresh grass and a smooth, nutty finish of hazelnut, this golden-jade brew combines a round and soft mouthfeel with a long, honeyed sweetness.
Multiple Infusions
Don't throw away your tea after steeping it! One of the greatest advantage of drinking whole leaf tea is that each serving of leaves can be re-steeped many times.
This tea can be re-steeped 2 times. We recommend using 3 grams of this whole leaf tea for 150ml of water
100 gms= 66 cups of tea
We recommend returning to any used tea leaves within the day.
