Pu'er Tea is grown in Jingmai, Yunnan and is designated as a protected origin product by the Chinese government. Pu-erh tea is made from the leaves and stems of the Camellia sinensis plant. It is the same plant that is used for making green, oolong, and black teas. Choosing a pure Pu'er tea is mainly categorised by the degree of fermentation. Pu’er is usually dark brown. It tastes mild and smooth. Due to the long fermentation period, there’s a deep fragrance to the tea.
