The pristine climate of Kagoshima valleys translates into the beautifully light steamed Asamushi tea. Suitable for a short steaming duration due to limited sun-exposure, sometimes it is steamed for as less as 20 seconds to retain its original earthy and sweet tea-like flavour. This tea gives you a more elegant and refreshing feel, if you particularly enjoy a plesant aroma in your drink and prefer to experience the true essence of the leaves used.
What makes it great
This lightly steamed tea invigorates your inner body and keeps stress-levels at bay with its healing properties. A fairly less intense brew, it colours your cup with a clear, light appearance and your taste buds with a precious tingle and breezy feel. Open up that book you have been reading, and catch up on it with this green tea that is both flavorful and refreshingly fragrant!
Taste and Aroma Notes
With the first sip, you are touched with a light-bodied breeze following earthy and pleasant aromas of rounded sweetness.
Don't throw away your tea after steeping it! One of the greatest advantage of drinking whole leaf tea is that each serving of leaves can be re-steeped many times.
This tea can be re-steeped 4 times. We recommend using 4 grams of this whole leaf tea for 150ml of water
75 gms= 75 cups of tea
We recommend returning to any used tea leaves within the day.
