A legendary oolong from the Anxi region of Fujian province, this tea greets its drinker with a refreshing nutty finish emerging from the jade-flowery leaves, gently roasted in different capacities. The plump flavourful leaves, devoid of any branches are then tightly rounded, reflecting polished aesthetics and a refined tea-culture.
What makes it great
Known as the gift from nature, this Tie Guan Yin is a beloved oolong made over a time consuming process by observing over 12 different steps. With a lingering orchid fragrance, the freshly picked premium tea leaves have the charm of both green and black tea flavours.
Taste and Aroma Notes
With a unique full-bodied taste, this tea offers a smooth and sweet flavour profile with nutty and creamy undertones and gentle astringency.
We recommend re-steeping this tea up to 4 times using 3 grams of tea leaves for 150ml of water.
50 gms = 66 cups of tea.
This tea will last for multiple infusions throughout the day. One of the greatest advantages of drinking good quality loose-leaf tea is that each serving can be re-steeped many times.
