One of the most iconic teas originally meant for royalty, the first thing you notice about the Silver Needle Bud is its beautiful, fuzzy buds. The delicate white shoots on the Silver Needle buds help the fruity flavours and aromas of hay, vanilla and apricot to stay intact while protecting the buds from bug bites and other physical damage.
What makes it great
It is unlikely that any other tea can be as elegant but energizing as this tea, as most teas are a mix of buds and leaves, this deservingly expensive tea is made purely with buds. The tiny needle-like buds are naturally sun-dried and plucked with care to retain the balanced, crisp and light taste. Presence of the highest levels of good caffeine, and polyphenols, makes this rare brew lively and bursting with energy.
Taste and Aroma Notes
The most purest Silverneedle Tea looks an even and clear pale yellow in the cup with flavours on the light but elegant side. But you can’t go without noticing the underlying deep complexity, combining fruity, floral, sweetly herbal, with balanced grassy-like notes.
Don't throw away your tea after steeping it! One of the greatest advantage of drinking whole leaf tea is that each serving of leaves can be re-steeped many times.
This tea can be re-steeped 4 times. We recommend using 4 grams of this whole leaf tea for 150ml of water
50 gms= 50 cups of tea
We recommend returning to any used tea leaves within the day.
