Aptly named, San Bei Xiang - or “three fragrant cups”, this tea can be steeped three times, revealing distinguished flavour nuances with each brew and making it a great everyday green tea. Sip it like the native drinkers, who steep the leaf three times to unveil a unique fragrance each time.
What makes it great
Sink into the fragrance of its sweetish grassy aroma and delicate herbal notes coming from the tea leaves rolled into uniform, thin "wires" of dark green colour that surprise you with a spicy ending. Xiang tea uses a traditional style of pan firing that elevates the leaves' strong natural taste and aroma attributes!
Taste and Aroma notes
Featuring a full-bodied aroma and sweet mouth-feel, the brew is noticeably aqua and bright. Working the leaves in the wok with a unique style, sharpens the naturally sweet and pungent notes of this green tea and puckers the palate with strong, fresh herbaceous notes and a clean aftertaste
Multiple Infusions
Don't throw away your tea after steeping it! One of the greatest advantage of drinking whole leaf tea is that each serving of leaves can be re-steeped many times.
This tea can be re-steeped 3 times. We recommend using 3 grams of this whole leaf tea for 150ml of water
200 gms= 200 cups of tea.
We recommend returning to any used tea leaves within the day.
